Ways to consume: Cut the okra in pieces and then prepare rice in boiling water. Once done, drain the starch water and keep it in a separate container. Put the cut okra in the rice water and keep it for a night. Next day squeeze the okra in the rice water and drink the potion twice a day.

For a diabetic person, there is a useful Ayurvedic mixture which can easily prepared at home and be used to reduce the sugar level down at all times. The ingredients are Coriander seeds, fennel seeds fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, and turmeric powder.

How to prepare: you need 1tsp of each choice of seeds and turmeric for this mixture. In a heated pan dry roast fenugreek seeds for 2 minutes and then set aside for cooling. Repeat the process with cumin, fennel and coriander seeds too. Grind all these seeds together with the turmeric powder. Now keep this powdered mixture and store it separately in a container. Now, every morning after breakfast and dinner, take 1 tsp of this powder and mix in a glass of water and drink it. One must also keep checking the blood glucose levels and insulin levels after every 3 days.
