Since 1930, the village of Hessdalen Valley in Norway has witnessed an unexplained nocturnal light known as “Hessdalen lights.” It appears suddenly and out of nowhere and for no particular reason. They appear at day and night and seem to float through and above the valley. They are generally bright white, yellow, or red in color and can appear above and below the horizon. It can appear for a few seconds to well over an hour. As per few hypotheses, the light is ionized iron dust.

The story of the photograph dates back to 1950s when the Cooper family bought a new house and moved into it. As they were spending their first night at the house, the family decided to take a photograph. The whole family including mom and grandmom posed with kids as the father took photograph. As the photo was developed, to their horror, it carried image of a hanging body just adjacent to them. The photograph is yet to find an explanation.

In the year 2000, an anonymous woman clicked a photograph of what she believed to be an escaped orangutan found in her own backyard. She mailed two photographs to the police. The bigfoot enthusiasts believed it to be “skunk ape” photos. The “skunk ape” is also known as the “swamp cabbage man,” “stink ape,” “Florida Bigfoot,” or “Myakka skunk ape.” It carries a very unpleasant odor. Its sightings were quite common in the 1960s and 1970s. But, the United States National Park Service now considers “skunk ape” to be a hoax.

The Babushka lady, who was present during the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, is known to have photographed the entire episode. As per the eyewitnesses, the lady was holding a camera and photographing the entire event. The nickname that she got was derived from headscarf that she wore, which was similar to scarves worn by elderly Russian women. Though the photograph is very popular, the woman was never identified and her photographs never surfaced.

The Falcon Lake incident is a reported unidentified flying object (UFO) encounter near Falcon Lake in Canada which happened on May 20, 1967. The person who encountered UFO was Stefan Michalak. The person claimed that his hand was burnt and also seen a grid-like exhaust vent that expelled gas that burned his clothing.

This photograph which was taken in the year 1919 carried a person who had already lost his life two days before the snap was taken. The photograph of Goddard’s squadron which served in WWI carried a soldier named Freddy Jackson who died in an accident two days prior to the day on which the photograph was taken. Jackson was an air mechanic who was accidentally killed by an airline propeller two days before the photo.
The Battle of Los Angeles which is also known as The Great Los Angeles Air Raid was a US military blackout of Los Angeles. The US military fired 1,400 anti-aircraft artillery shells and several .50-caliber machine guns at some targets which no one had the idea about. The attack lasted from late February 24 to early February 25 over Los Angeles, California. Initially, it was thought that the attack was on an attacking force from Japan. Some conspiracy theorists suggested that it was an attack on extraterrestrial spacecraft.

The Solway Firth Spaceman is a figure seen in the picture taken by a fireman in 1964. The picture was taken on Burgh Marsh overlooking the Solway Firth in Cumbria, England. In the photograph, a background figure wearing a space suit is seen. However, the person involved with the photograph claimed that he did not see anyone present when the photograph was taken.

The mystery of Taman Shud case still perplexes people as it is an unsolved case. It is a case of an unidentified man who was found dead on Somerton beach, just south of Adelaide, South Australia. The dead body was found with a piece of paper with words “Taman Shud” written on it. It was taken from a book which was kept in a car nearby to the place where the dead body was found. The mysterious code was visible only under UV light. Both the dead man’s identity and the code have yet not been solved.

A photograph from 1941 is present in the Virtual Museum of Canada which was taken at the re-opening of the South Fork Bridge in Gold Bridge, British Columbia. The photo claimed to have a time traveler as his attire and appearance looked very modern. However, further research showed that the modern appearance of the man may not be so modern.
The style of the sunglass actually appeared in the 1920s. At first glance, it appeared that the man wore a printed T-shirt but it turned out to be a sweater with a sewn-on emblem which was worn by sports teams of that period. The "Time Traveling Hipster" became a case study with debates on whether the image has an authentic time traveler on the photo has been manipulated.

The Norwegian spiral anomaly of 2009 was shown in the night sky over Norway. It was visible and photographed from Northern Norway and Sweden. As per the witnesses, it looked like a blue light coming from behind a mountain that stopped in mid-air and started spiraling outwards. Initially, there were a lot of speculations surrounding the photograph. However, later, the Russian Ministry of Defense had clarified that it could be one of their missile tests gone wrong.
