Approximately two out of every 1,000 pregnancies result in a child with Down syndrome, according to Trapane’s estimate. There’s a 1 to 5 million chance that a pregnancy will result in twins, and those twins will have Down Syndrome.

Combs already knew that her daughters were exceptional before she gave birth. Both Kennadi and Mckenli were Mono/Di twins. These types of twins are extremely rare, and both babies had their individual sacks inside her womb, yet they shared the same placenta. However, there was yet another twist to these twins’ story.

The twins were born six weeks earlier than expected, making them premature babies. The twins were kept at the Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, for two months.

They are exactly like everyone else, Combs declared. They have their own personalities and moos, and they laugh and cry just like normal babies would. Little Kennadi’s demeanor is a constant source of joy because she is always cheerful and happy. Combs describes her as a “ray of sunshine.” However, Mckenli is the complete opposite of her identical twin.

To put it simply, Combs thought of her as an outright diva. This is what Comb’s had to say about her daughters- “They have feelings, they have beating hearts, they know how to talk, they know how to do things you do, and they will get there. Like I say, it may be a step behind, but they’re going to do it.”
