Although she might have seen it coming from a mile ahead, it was a shocker for all her fans. It’s pretty apparent that Michael Bay was getting greatly annoyed with her attitude. According to an interview with GQ, Fox was still a part of the rehearsal process for “Dark of the Moon” but she always seemed disinterested, busy on her phone and not focusing at all. Adding on to this the “Hitler” comment was still irking Steven Spielberg and he advised Bay to remove her from the cast which was promptly done.
Although Fox maintains it till date that she walked out of the franchise which carried on minting money without her but the joke was on her. She was replaced by Victoria’s Secret Model- Rosie Huntington- Whiteley as Sam’s Love interest.

With all her shenanigans, it was not just Michel Bay and Steven Spielberg who didn’t appreciate her attitude but it was the whole crew who felt the same. She never showed any enthusiasm about being part of this mega project which screenwriter Ehren Kruger felt too. Moreover, she was completely alienated after the “Hitler” comment as the whole cast and crew blasted the actress calling her a grump who is ungrateful for her job. She expressed no camaraderie with the rest of the crew members either. It’s because of this that Megan’s valid criticism of using top ladies of the movie as a sex object as Michael Bay’s directorial style that also fell flat.

After being booted from The Transformers franchise, she acted in an R- Rated Horror comedy called Jennifer’s body, which tried to cash upon her solo star power and used her as its marketing tool. But the movie bombed badly. Although the reviews were mixed and it was not entirely Megan’s fault as the movie was disastrous for everyone involved in it too. It sadly proved her inept to open any movie on her own. She did need a CGI robot with her always.
