The Facebook post of Constance Hall garnered a lot of attention from females who could relate to such situation. Nicolle Laskos Nowosielski wrote, "Yeah, cuz it's so sexy to assign chores to a grown ass man who is pretending not to have observational skills."

Rosie Martin wrote, "I hate being the taskmaster in my household. I will never understand why most managerial/executive positions in the workplace are taken up by men when they generally lack basic observational and organizational skills and lack the motivation to complete any needed task at all unless it's something they WANT to do themselves. How the hell are women not totally running the world yet????!!"

Danielle Souliere Charron wrote, "the other part of that is, now that you've asked and it's (maybe) been done, it's like they did for you a FAVOR and now you owe them. "I washed the dishes for you. I made the kids lunches for you." I mean, thank you for helping but by saying that you're making everything MY job that you are wonderful enough to "help" me with. F- that noise."

There were some who were also happy with their relationships. Ashley Murray wrote, "The more I'm on social media the more I realise how blessed I am to have my husband. I have never asked him to do a chore and he has never asked me... We BOTH live in the home.... it's BOTH of our jobs to care for it.. Same with caring for our kids. I have never had to ask for help."
