The shocking reason why wheat is toxic and it isn’t about gluten

Have you ever wondered why pasta is eaten on a vacation doesn’t cause a problem yet eating it at homers does? In fact, there could be times when it may cause an autoimmune reaction in kids too. Toxicity of wheat is an ongoing subject of debate related to health issues where gluten is being considered the culprit. However, this isn’t the case neither is it due to genetically modified wheat in the USA. The main reason for wheat causing possible allergic problem is entirely something else. It is the way it is grown by conventional wheat farmers. This is the real reason why wheat is making you sick.

1 Roundup increases harvest

Farmers in the USA drench wheat with a herbicide called roundup before harvesting. This kills wheat plants which makes it easier on farm equipment resulting in a larger harvest. Herbicides like Roundup contain a deadly ingredient called Glyphosate used as a pre-harvest agent since the 80’s. It is a regular drying agent 8-10 days before harvest.

According to research by Dr. Stephanie Seneff of MIT, wheat exposed to glyphosate releases more seeds and a greater yield. BY the 19901’s it became a common practice in the harvest of nonorganic wheat.

2 Herbicides in wheat are detrimental to health

Statistics of the US Department of agriculture revealed that 99% of durum wheat, 97% of spring wheat and 61% of winter wheat was treated with herbicides in 2012 a huge increase over the last 20 years. Although an unlicensed practice, farmers were still using the herbicide Roundup to kill wheat for a bigger harvest. This also means consumers are consuming products made from wheat flour that contains traces of various herbicides including roundup. Netherlands has already banned the method.

The herbicide industry has stated that glysophate is harmless to humans but research published in Entopy has proved that the herbicide is toxic for human physiology. It disrupts the pathway that benefits gut microbes that facilitate the synthesis of crucial amino acids. Probiotics or good bacteria aid in digestion and fights stomach infection, they also synthesize vitamins and strengthen the immune system. Roundup disrupts the process which is why wheat is making you sick.

3 Organic is the best option

Glyphosate reduces the production of enzymes by the gut microbiome that detoxifies chemical compounds which the body is exposed to. When exposed to glyphosate, humans became even more vulnerable to chemical damage.

Glysophate causes inflammation that lasts for months which causes problems such as gastrointestinal infection and disorders, diabetes, heart disease, depression, infertility, cancer and Alzheimers. Despite of you not having problem digesting wheat, conventional wheat is detrimental to your system causing illness and disease. Now you know why wheat is making you sick, the best advice is to stick to organic wheat.
