Her weight loss story was simple she says. It only involved a healthy eating routine. Ana Reyes says that she was motivated after seeing a photograph of four generations of her own family. They didn’t look like her at all.

Reyes reveals how at one time she was so obese that she could not even paint her toenails. She was disgusted with the way she looked and even walking up the steps was difficult for her. At fifty years young, those were not difficult tasks at all which shows how unfit she was. Even her clothes did not fit her and she was always embarrassed. Ryes describes that her weight loss routine was extremely simple and all it involved was planned and careful eating.

Her body issues soon led to depression because the more she looked at herself, the more depressed she became. She had lost her confidence and suffered from low self-esteem. One day she decided she had enough and decided to act upon it. Reyes says she stopped socializing because of how negative she felt about herself.

The mom of two and grandmom of five transformed her entire lifestyle just by changing her diet, effort and a healthier lifestyle. Reyes soon took control of her life and soon she started what was called the 123 diet. It included a healthy eating plan and natural diet drops that prevent cravings for sweets.

Ever since Reyes undertook her new health routine, she says she began feeling fabulous and was more focused. “I’ve gone from a very depressed state to feeling fabulous and confident about myself. As my grandkids would say, I’m 50 and fabulous.” She lost 31 kgs in 12 weeks.

She mentioned that many are of the opinion that diets are all about food restriction but she instead consumed more vegetables and fruits such as strawberries and apples for breakfast. She also combined them with yoghurt. For lunch, she ate protein, salads and vegetables. For dinner, she stuck to steaks and fish. What Reyes was actually doing was cutting down a lot of carbs and increasing protein and fiber in her diet.

Reyes revealed that in the beginning, she felt a bit yucky as the body begins the detox process but after a few days she began feeling energetic. She says that she now feels fantastic and looks younger. She is also full of confidence where she jokes “I even have a few guys chasing me.”

The 123 diet seems to have worked well with Reyes and it was a huge success. She now recommends it to others hoping that they too find the strength to embark on a weight loss journey like her and start living a healthier life. She advises “Just jump straight in, life is too short and we need to live life. Don’t think twice about it.”
