10 Of The Most Humble Millionaires And Billionaires Of All Times

By Nenad Dojcinovski, 3 November 2017

You really have to be a special person, someone with a huge heart, to share your hard earned millions or even billions. There’s no such thing as overnight success and we all know it. But the fact that we’re only seeing the bright side of the story is making people believe that success was meant to be for a group of specially selected people.

But that’s not the truth. If we take business as an example, we can always use people like Jack Ma and Elon Musk as the purest examples of success.

But what makes all of these people special is not how much money they make. But it is rather the fact that they still keep it humble, and they’re happy to share their fortunes just to help people in need.

1Mark Zuckerberg

Thanks to Facebook, we all know who Mark Zuckerberg is. He’s not worth $54 billion, and the numbers are just going up. But even a more shocking fact is that Mark is only 33 years old. Which means he has more billions in the bank that age! That is shocking, but Mark is not your typical billionaire. He wants to keep it simple, wearing only the plain t-shirts and regular jeans. With the money he has, he can easily buy any car in the world, but he prefers a more humble option such as Volkswagen Golf GTi.

2Leonardo DiCaprio

"The Wolf of Wall Street" star has an estimated net worth of $245 million. He’s not a billionaire, and maybe he’ll never be one. But $245 million is still a huge amount of money that you can use to treat yourself with super expensive items. But that’s not the style of the amazing Leo DiCaprio. You can only see Leo wearing an expensive suit during The Oscars or similar movie awards. But besides that, he doesn’t want to show-off and he would rather rent a bike just to tour cities and enjoy the modest life.

3Ingvar Kamprad

The old fella in the picture above is not a familiar face. But does the name IKEA rings a bell? Well, Ingvar Kamprad is a founder of one of the biggest company in the world. Kamprad’s net worth is estimated at $50 billion, but he’s nothing more than your typical casual retired man.

4Tobey Maguire

Our favorite Spiderman is one of the nicest actor in show business. Maguire has a simple dressing sense, and wearing designer clothes is not his style. While filming the movie The Great Gatsby, every cast member received a Mercedes-Benz as a gift. But Maguire returned the gif since the car was equipped with leather seats, and he is a vegetarian.

5Pewdie Pie

Felix Kjellberg or Pewdie Pie transformed the way we see and even use YouTube. The hilarious Swedish entertainer has 57 million subscribers, and that’s more than Eminem, Rihana and many other celebrities. He’s being paid to play games and comment, which means he is living the dream. On top of that, he makes a lot of money through YouTube ads. But unlike Jake Paul or Logan Paul, Pewdie Pie is not showing-off in front of his fans with expensive cars or flashy outfit. That’s probably why people love to watch his content.

6Mark Cuban

Mark Cuban is a self-made multi-billionaire. He now owns many film and television related companies, and the Dallas-Mavericks basketball club as well. Mark is big in philanthropy and often donates a lot of money to charity. Mark is often on TV discussing business and politics and wearing normal sneakers combined with regular t-shirts.

7Dustin Moskovitz

Mark Zuckerberg is the main man at Facebook now, but that wasn’t the case at the beginning. Did you know that Dustin Moskovitz is one of the co-founders of Facebook? But he wasn’t as involved as Mark or interested in publicity either. But that’s not a problem for Moskovitz because he is a billionaire too, that’s one thing he has in common with Zuckerberg out of two. Just like Mark, he is a humble guy as well. Despite being the youngest self-made billionaire, Dustin still works hard on his app company.

8Nicholas Woodman

The founder and CEO of GoPro is not quite the overnight success example. He started his business from nothing and even had to take loans from his parents to keep his company and dream alive. The camera company is not his first business or idea. He had to fail a couple of times before his GoPro became a success. But besides running one of the most interesting companies in the world, Woodman seems like any other “Average Joe” during his public appearances.

You probably think the founder of Zara is a stylish man with fancy clothes and luxuries lifestyle. But even with a net worth of $80 billion, Ortega is not wearing a suit or a tie and prefers a simple blue pants and shirts. He has the habit of wearing a blazer once in a while, but that’s it. Ortega wants to keep his life as private as possible, and he would rather spent his money on things that matter, like charity donations and investing in medical industries in Spain.

10Keanu Reeves

You simply have to love Keanu Reeves! The Matrix star is amazing both on and off the screen. At the age of 52, Keanu has experienced more tragedy than most of us would experience in a lifetime. His father left his family when Keanu was just a little boy. His best friend passed away after a drug overdose and his ex-girlfriend died in a car accident. But despite all this, Keanu is still one of the most humble celebrities out there. “Money is the last thing I think about. I could live on what I have already made for the next few centuries.” Keanu Reeves.
