It’s absolutely necessary to stay in a comfortable and hygienic hotel while traveling as proper rest and diet are among the major things that people look for.
However, long business trips can be quite boring for anyone as an individual has to stay alone in a hotel and life becomes monotonous. Needless to say, everyone expects a pleasant stay but if the stay in a hotel is for a long period, there is a probability that the person starts feeling lonely and homesick. The hotel staff should also make sure that they take proper care of the guest and make him feel comfortable and at home. What’s more, it is their duty to see that he remains fit and fine both mentally and physically. Agree?
To avoid feelings of loneliness and boredom, there has to be some fun-filled activity which is not only interesting but also little creative. For this, one can resort to playing some very simple yet enjoyable games such as the one was played by a traveler in a hotel of Azerbaijan.

The traveler started playing a game with the housekeeping staff of the hotel as on day one, he left the room with this human figure made of pillows and blankets lying on the bed. We have to agree that he does have a creative bent of mind and knows how to make the best use of available things.

The traveler was unsure of the reaction that he might get from the housekeeping staff and when he returned, what he found was a clean bed with a drawing of a smiley face. Here is the clean bed:

The manner in which the housekeeping staff reacted was an encouraging one for the traveler so the next morning, he left the room with a smiley drawn by him on the bed. Such a beautiful response shows that he was all set to take the game to the next level.

The housekeeping staff also liked the game as they not only cleaned the bed but also left with a same smiley face drawn on the bed with a note. This was the proof that the housekeeping staff was also feeling refreshed with the game and enjoying every bit of it.

The traveler knew that the staff liked his game so this time, he wanted to increase the level of challenge. He created a pillow insect on the bed and also used the shampoo and lotion bottles to give it a more authentic feel.

It seemed to be a great stress buster for the traveler and he loved throwing challenges at the housekeeping staff. When he left the room on the morning of day 4, a hybrid of owl and human was waiting for the staff. The creature was wearing a hat and appeared to be in a little angry mood, loosely giving an impression of being inspired by any creature of Harry Potter series.

On the fifth day, the traveler created a flower which was pretty simple and not well-crafted in comparison to his previous examples of creativity. It may have confused the housekeeping staff a little but they liked what they saw and left a note to confirm it as well.

The traveler showed his best artistic work a couple of days later when he left for work after creating a four-wheeled vehicle with a family inside it, enjoying a good time together. It was indeed his best creation so far which might also be an indication that he was missing his family.

When the traveler returned to his room, he found his room clean and tidy and a note was kept on his pillow. The note was left by one of the staff members who thanked the traveler for cheering him up. Here is how the note was left on the bed:

The traveler decided to appreciate the housekeeping staff for their services that they rendered and for this, he created a smiley but a little different one as its tongue was sticking out and it was wearing a hat as well. The traveler was definitely taking the challenge game to a new level by creating some really wonderful designs.

On the last day of his trip, the businessman left a human-like structure for the housekeeping staff. He arranged the pillows in such a manner that it looked like a person sitting on the chair and then he managed to put the robe on those pillows, giving an impression that someone was seriously waiting for the housekeeping staff to arrive.
The staff also liked it a lot as it was definitely among the best designs made by the traveler. Primafacie, it must have given them the feeling that the traveler was actually waiting for them in the room. For this, they not only left a note but also wrote, “Very very beautiful”.
Finally, the time came when the traveler had to depart but he knew that he should give the housekeeping staff some gift as they not only took good care of him but also actively participated in the game started by him. He created a heart on the bed, kept some chocolates inside it and named it as goodbye challenge.
This strange but lovely game played by the traveler might have been started as an attempt to break the monotony of his trip but it ended in making a great relationship between him and the housekeeping staff. This bond of love was unconditional, priceless and selfless and we are sure that even the staff will never forget the traveler for all the good reasons.
