Writer/director Lenny Abrahamson made a big name for himself in Ireland before making a lasting appearance in Hollywood with his maiden production the “Room” which broke all the charts and was nominated for all the prestigious awards despite its limited release in US. In fact, Lead Brie Larson actually bagged the best Actress award for the movie. Now he has focused his attention to this 2009 Sarah Water’s Novel the “The Little Strangers”

The remake of 1922 Seminal classic is really an ambitious project for the director Robert Eggers who was credited for the “the Witch” as the scariest movie of 2015. Egger has the gift to create a dense atmosphere in his movies which would help him with this story as well. Though he himself is in awe of the greatest horror movie of all times himself, he would keep his version as a mark of respect and tribute to the original one. Release date, not scheduled.
