But finding out that your favorite on-screen BFFs aren’t best friends once the camera stops rolling, and even bitch about each other, can be a real punch to the heart. The most famous pop culture friendship ever was that of Leighton and Blake on the hit teen drama Gossip Girl. They portrayed socialite BFFs Serena Van der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf on the show and claimed they would always have each other’s backs. But sadly, Leighton and Blake did not get along as famously off the cameras. There were constant ego clashes, arguments about screen time, wardrobe issues between the stars.

Blake’s character Serena has always been the bigger hit among the audiences, and that obviously made Leighton pretty insecure, Although the two started off as friends, and it never got violent between the two, they were not happy about coexisting on the same show.

As talks of another SATC were going on, Kim opened up about her reservations and the team obviously could not make a movie without her. Nathan and Stana played the lovable detective and crime writer duo in the hit crime thriller Castle. The show became a huge hit, owing to its brilliant premise. While Nathan played a crime writer, Stana played a detective. On the show, they weren’t just friends and constant companions, but also eventually married each other.

According to reports, Nathan’s relentless bullying would often leave Stana in tears, and in fact many people from the sets did not like Nathan either.
