The celebrity shed several pounds while filming her new reality show “Mama June from not to hot” and hot she indeed looks now after you see photos of her stunning transformation. Mama June is skinny now.

1 Mama June from 460 pounds is now a size 4

Mama June is now a size four from weighing 460 pounds and all because she chose to make healthy choices in her diet to lose an incredible amount of weight and remain that way. Losing weight is one thing but maintaining it is an entirely different ball game altogether and takes dedication and commitment which June Shannon has shown she has plenty of.

2 When she made the decision

Mama June’s trainer Kenya Crooks has shared some of his diet strategies in an interview with People magazine. He said that Mama June gave up the usual mountain dew code reds just a day after she had been in an accident which fortunately wasn’t serious. Mama June was told by her neurologist that she simply had to give up drinking Cola. Incidentally carbonated drinks is a major contributor to weight gain and obesity. If you see her now it’s not wrong to say Mama June is skinny now.

3 Trainer Kenya Crooks makes Mama June give up her favorite sodas

Kenya then recommended fruit infused water for Mama June. “For people who don’t like to drink water by itself, what we’ve done is we’ve thrown some strawberries and kiwi in there,” Fruit infused water encourages people to drink more water too.

Mama June also drinks Propel flavored waters when she’s too busy for the infused variety. Propel comes in flavors like Wild Cherry, Kiwi Strawberry and Grape and though it taste like soda it’s a healthy choice. Kenya also suggests substituting unhealthy treats with watermelon which is 92% liquid so there’s no possibility of retaining any fat. Kenya made sure Mama June also went off chips and started her on apple chips and grapes.

4 An intense abs workout routine did the trick

But of course nutrition isn’t the only thing that helps you in weight loss and exercise is extremely important. Mama June was given an abs workout routine by Kenya which worked wonders for her. The routine involved Mama June working out thrice a week focusing on core exercises such as elbow crunches, standard crunches, sit ups and Russian twists with a medicine ball.

The combination of workouts with diet has brought down Mama June from 460 pounds to a size 4 which is incredible. She was so proud of herself that she posted her entire routines and photos of her slimmed down body on social media which is trending into quite a rage because it’s lovely to see the star looking healthier now. To quote Mama June” “I’ve worked my ass off working out, getting healthy,” Mama June said during her show’s finale. “And now I feel like becoming the person on the outside that I always felt like on the inside.” Finally Mama June is skinny now.
