Farting is caused by the buildup of air in our bodies and there's nothing unnatural about it. And yet farting is mocked almost everywhere. It is also important to note that it is quite unhealthy to hold in a fart or not fart at all which can definitely affect your health.

Farting also can be moderated but only by making some lifestyle changes. People often ask dieticians and doctors about controlling flatulence but the most effective medicine is, of course, their diets. Eating right and eating in moderation can help you control your farting and also keep your metabolism healthy. But there's also a lot about farting which you do not know. 1What is fart?

Farting is caused by gas buildup. In fact, we fart because our body has gas in it. The gases present in our bodies include nitrogen and oxygen. 8Vegetarians fart more

It is a proven fact that people who are on a strict vegetarian diet experience more flatulence and scientists have accounted the green vegetables for it. Beans, specifically, have carbohydrates which are made of molecules too big to be absorbed by the small intestines, which is why they travel to the large intestine still intact. Thus their bacterias get mixed up with the gas and cause you to fart.

9Your broccoli’s to blame

Cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, kale, and cauliflower make people overly gassy and also causes you to bloat up. They are high in Vitamin C which is good for the body but they are also high on sulfur which causes more flatulence.

Your butt or rather the nerves in your rear opening can tell the difference between a fart and a poop, based on the sensations. Which is why you can know if you want to go to the toilet or you just have to fart.

16Avoid starch

Potatoes, corn, and other starchy food only make flatulence worse. Remember to have foods which are not too taxing on your digestive system. This is not to say that you can never have carbs, just have them in moderation. If you only have 1 to 2 servings of potato a day, chances are your gas buildup will be in control.
