Tooth problems have been documented in history, even as far back as 2700 BC. In modern times, tooth problems are one of the most expensive health problems and for an average US citizen, it can cost up to 10% of their annual healthcare costs. Most of the times, we use products that contain chemicals that cause harm to a different part of the body and to our teeth also, in the long run. But medical research has found that green tea is a better option and an alternative to chemical mouthwashes, as it cleanses the mouth naturally and also removes plaque.
Here is an alternative way to use green tea as a mouthwash, so that you get shining white teeth.
Dental plaque is a mass of bacteria that grows on the surface within the mouth and on the teeth. Generally it is colorless, but with constant buildup, it forms tartar and the color changes to brown or yellow. Forming of plaque is a normal process which cannot be prevented. But on the hindsight, the plaque is responsible for diseases like periodontal diseases and caries and care should be taken to remove the plaque regularly by using dental floss, brushing the teeth in between meals and using mouthwashes.

The typical mouthwashes that are available over the counter contain a chemical known as chlorhexidine and it is responsible for increase in blood pressure among individuals, as during the process of gargling, some mouthwash is ingested and regular usage might lead to high blood pressure. Along with chlorhexidine, it also contains alcohol, which dries out the mucous membrane of the mouth and can easily cause bad breath for a prolonged period of time. Along with chlorhexidine, another chemical by the name of Methyl Salicylate, can cause severe kidney failure and breathing problems. Even methylparaben, found in mouthwash may cause breast cancer or increase the chances of having breast cancer.
To avoid such chances of bodily and fatal harms, you can use the all natural green tea mouthwash supplement.

Green Tea is responsible for keeping you pearly whites free of cavities and lowers the acidity of pH levels of the mouth. It lowers the risk of periodontal diseases in gums and also the bad breath disease known as halitosis. Green tea also neutralizes the sulfur compounds in the mouth that aids in bad breath.

Boil the water to remove any bacteria in it and the extract will stay fresh for a long time. Also sterilize the bottle as well. Now put 7 tablespoons of green tea into the water and let it stay for an hour. Now strain the water into another bowl. Add another ½ liter of water to the extract and store in a bottle. Now use 30 ml of this to rinse your mouth for at least 30 seconds (the longer the better). Now either you can spit the extract out or you can swallow it. Do this once or twice a day and do eat or drink an hour before and after this.
