Don’t Throw Away These 10 Herbs and Vegetables That You Can Regrow Right In Your Kitchen

7 Carrot leaves

This isn’t meant for regrowing carrots, just the leafy greens which can be used for salads. Keep aside about two inches from the end of the vegetable and place them in a shallow plate or saucer of water. Place them on your window and within a few days you will see the leaves sprouting.

8 Garlic sprouts

If you have a piece of garlic that has already sprouted abit, then take some of these and place the bulbs in a glass filled with just enough water to cover the bulb. Soon new sprouts will appear.

9 Lemon grass

Lemon grass is great for Southeast Asian dishes. Just place the stalks in a glass of water. When they start sprouting roots, replant them again. Lemon grass makes awesome flavoring for tangy dishes.

10 Ginger

Ginger is also among vegetables you can grow again. Choose some pieces of the ginger rhizome that has buds growing on it. Plant them soil and within a few weeks you’ll see them growing again.
