Dawn Williams is a 44-year-old Canadian woman. She is the mother of two children. She drew a lot of attention and became famous because of her stark resemblance to Pamela Anderson. Her outgoing and bold appearance made strangers ogle at her and many walked up to her asking whether she happened to be a celebrity. Dawn loved all the attention she received and why not? Dawn had taken the trouble spending almost two decades trying to perfect her appearance. She went beyond the limits to bring those changes in her. In those two decades, she had complete breast implants. She had bleached her hair with blonde extensions. She had 'done' eyelash extensions, botox and lip fillers. She said that the augmentations make her feel confident and comfortable with her looks. She had become a whole new person in their residential block.
But as she underwent changes Dawn had some clouds to face too. In 2010, with a sparkling nose ring, thick layered makeup, and her overly tanned skin, Dawn Williams agreed that she had “pretty overdone" herself. She said that her kids were mortified by their mother's "Hot" look. They felt embarrassed by their mother's overt look. Dawn agreed that while she was happy and comfortable with her unique lifestyle and 'revealing" looks, her teenage children were not. She said, “I am a mother, first and foremost. I would really like for both my daughter and my son to be proud of me.” And so Dawn Williams voiced her willing to tone down her appearance for the sake of her children and their happiness.

That is when, Carson Kressley, a fashion expert and celebrity stylist flew out to Alberta to help Dawn before joining up with “The Oprah Winfrey Show”. “There’s always that little girl in me that feels that she’s overweight. And I’ve always thought that if I had the hair, they’re going to look at the hair and they’re not going to look at me." This is what Dawn confessed to Carson when he arrived at her home. This confession revealed that behind all the augmentations and cosmetic surgeries and makeup, there was little overweight girl who wasn't happy with her appearance. It was quite a sad revelation. Kressley encouraged and motivated her to remove the extra thick layers of makeup and asked her to redefine dressing style. She followed Kressley's advice. After her " make-under" when Dawn Williams entered Oprah's show, dressed up in shoulder-length cut wrap dress with fresh make-up, everyone's jaw dropped. The big revelation brought tears to her teenage kids eyes. She was completely unrecognizable, beyond belief. For her kids, they saw their mother's softer and delicate look for the first time in life. One commented that she looked much prettier, younger and classy after the 'make-under'. Now " Hot but in a good way."

After sometime, as we know Oprah Winfrey frequently checks in on her guests well-being via her "Where are They Now" segments. So Oprah wanted to check whether Dawn maintained her 'make-under' new look. Oprah and others were stunned and disappointed find Dawn in her old "revealing" look. She had again hidden herself in superficial makeup and implants. Dawn confessed that she had reverted to her old ways just eight months after her 'make-under' revelation. She said it made her feel "much happier" with them.

The next half Dawn Williams was filled with highs and lows. In 2013, she hit the news by getting married to a man named Troy in an elaborate celebration. Her family too has grown. “I have also adopted a son. His name is Johnny,” she said. After milestone 50th birthday, Dawn met with an accident which landed her in a hospital, fighting for her life. “I was in Nashville, Tennessee, for my cousin’s wedding. I fell down some stairs and ended up on life support.” After recovering from that accident Williams has gained a new perspective of life. She confessed, “I have come to see life in a... more respectful way. We have just so little time here, and I’m just so very, very blessed that my life was saved.”
