Keeping windows open could be an option but that has its limitations and could pose a security risk at night not forgetting heat and dust. Well!! This method hardly takes any effort and is ingenious in its function. To create a makeshift car freshener, all that is needed is a clothespin and some essential oil. You need to rub the clothespin thoroughly with some sweet smelling essential oil like lavender or jasmine and then clasp the pin onto the air conditioning vent of the car. If you spray oil into the vent directly it won’t work, and neither can you tie a bottle of oil on the vent. It’s simple; just place a clothespin which fastens itself on to the vent. The scent of the oil is pulled through the AC vent and keeps the interior of the car smelling good.
