Recent research has found how cannabis oil can cure psoriasis and now cancer. The healing properties of cannabis oil are gradually being made known to humans as scientists open up research on the ingredient. One woman from Coventry has claimed how it cured her of cancer even as doctors gave her 6 weeks to live. Yes, this woman cured her cancer with cannabis oil.
Joy Smith 52 from Coventry in England suffered from terminal bowel cancer that could not be operated upon. She was given only six weeks to live and that was in August 2016. It is now March 2018 and Joy Smith is alive and kicking well enough to tell you that her cancer was in remission and all because she resorted to cannabis base tablets along with her chemotherapy. Smith followed the advice of another cancer patient residing in the USA who produced her own Cannabis oil.

Smith was desperate for a solution and who wouldn’t be after being told she just had over a month to live. Two years hence, doctors are calling Smith the ‘luckiest woman alive” as even they have been baffled at her scans showing just a little of the disease left in her stomach. Smith is now confident that this will ultimately be healed with the constant use of cannabis oil.

For Smith, this was a miracle of sorts and that miracle, of course, was her usage of cannabis. She is now encouraging legislation for cannabis for medical use. She uses her own condition as proof saying that “I’m a walking miracle and doctors call me the Wonder Woman”.

Smith wasn’t just lucky because of her miracle recovery. More good news was in store for her when she went on to win 84,000 pounds from a TV competition in which she says that she was under the influence of the cannabis oil she used.

Smith now feels that cannabis oil should be legalized for use as a medicine as people aren’t exactly recovering from cancer in spite of receiving chemo. Smith started taking cannabidiol, a nutritional supplement derived from cannabis. This is a legal product in the United Kingdom. The only problem is that her treatment also contains THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) that can give you a high and this isn’t allowed. Smith resorts to buying the oil illegally from online sources.

Cannabis oil or cannabidiol (CBD) was legalized in 2016 in the UK after research found that it had a restorative and corrective effect on human physiology. But once the MHRA backtracked on its position, it confused thousands in the UK as to the legalities of CBD. The oil can be sold for medicinal purposes and with a license only. However, manufacturers have created a loophole by selling it as a supplement that would not require a license. CBD is widely regarded to cure low back pain, anxiety and epilepsy but is still to be approved in Scotland. If cannabis oil contains THC, then it is highly illegal in England.

Smith describes how taking cannabis oil was like eating black tar combined with olive oil but 'when you're told you have six weeks to live you'll try anything, trust me.’. Ms. Smith has attributed her recovery as a miracle no less and says she has beaten science. She said “‘when people are dying something needs to be done. I want to do everything I can to get it legalized for medicinal purposes in the UK.'
Smith says had it not been for cannabis oil, she would not have been alive to relate this story. She has almost beaten the disease and even won 84,000 pounds while high. 'I did everything I wanted to do. The money doesn't even feel real at the moment, it's just so surreal. It's been a whirlwind.'
