Not all dogs love obliging you even though they love and cherish you as their world. Sometimes a dog has his own dog days too and it’s that time when he or she can be most grumpy. Take Siberian husky Anuko for instance. It seems these humans just weren’t getting it. He had had enough of Christmas.
Anuko’s family seemed to be brimming with the Christmas spirit and decided to rope their husky into the celebrations. When this family tries a Christmas photo-shoot with their husky, he obliges but in the most grumpiest manner possible. His expressions are hilarious.

Many seeing this may feel that the husky just doesn’t like what’s happening to him because of his sourpuss expression. But!! With Anuko, looks can be deceiving which his family revealed. “He has a dark black mask around his face that makes him look that way. It runs in his family,” said his owner Jasmine.

Anuko’s surly, bored off and extremely grumpy character seems to show he is one big Ebenezer Scrooge and if the dog could speak, it seems a BAH HUMBUG, is ready to escape his lips.

Don’t be fooled though!! His grumpy look is actually the opposite and he is a calm and relaxed dog. He is also kind and very enthusiastic for joining in the fun his family says, although if you ask me, he looks thoroughly pissed off.

Says Jasmine “He’s mostly chilled out, very quiet. He’s not overbearing so doesn’t like cuddles that much, but if you leave the room he will follow.” She also says that Anuko is like her shadow and is always with her. He is like almost therapy where she adds “something that’s benefited me a lot regarding my mental health”.

Anuko and Jasmine’s story is quite heartwarming. He was found by jasmine when he was just 5 weeks old. She was suffering and struggling from depression and poor mental health.

She heard about it from others that a dog would benefit her and so she found Anuko and they bonded instantly. Jasmine feels that Anuko has been the rock in her life and has helped her overcome her mental and emotional problems. He has been instrumental in her wellbeing and her slow path to recovery.
“When I got him I was quite suicidal and depressive, I didn’t have any friends or a job and I’d quit school. I lived my life in bed, practically.” She says Anuko encouraged her to come outdoors and play with him which did her a world of good.

Well, now it’s Christmas for the loving Dog-human duo and Jasmine wanted Anuko to truly experience the Christmas spirit by decking him up like a reindeer. But whether he likes it or not, his expressions are so hilarious, it’s taking the internet by storm.
This isn’t the first time Anuko was the star of the internet. A few years earlier, Jasmine had done a similar photo-shoot with Anuko with a different theme and the photo-shoot went viral. Jasmine also runs a website called Snowdog Guru as well as webpages dedicated to Anuko and huskies. She helps other husky and snow dog owners with various types of information.

“They’re a unique breed and come with a lot of responsibility,” Says Jasmine who is also studying to be a vet this having applied this year. She says all this is because of Anuko coming into her life without which she would be nothing,
So now you know that beautiful story of Anuko and Jasmine, it truly puts you in the Christmas spirit but look at him. One can’t help feeling that this guy is so furious, he isn’t amused at all.

The family does a photo-shoot with their husky who doesn’t look like he is impressed with him being the star of the photo-shoot but!! They have stolen many hearts. He almost feels as if he has to just bear this up as one big sacrifice for his best friend so he might as well just get over with it.
But he is a darling which Jasmine will, of course, tell you. It’s beautiful how both have bonded after all, if you are a dog lover, you too will understand how calm and soothing an animal like Anuko can make you. They are the best.
