Since time immemorial, there are many celebrities who have been entertaining us. They do so from various platforms. Stages are one of the platforms from where celebrities connect with the fans and showcase their talents. While there are many celebrities who entertain us from the stages, there are also many whose life ended on it. Sadly, their lives ended on stage and in front of their fans. Here is a list of celebrities whose life ended in front of their fans:

1Ken Steadman

Ken Steadman was having time of his life as he was part of many good movies and had done various parts of television shows like NYPD Blue, Malone's, Baywatch, and Babylon 5. Hence, it was very difficult to believe that his life ended in an accident. On September 20, 1996, Ken died in a tragic accident while shooting for Sliders episode called "Desert Storm".

2Sarah Guyard Guillot

Sarah Guyard Guillot was a French acrobat and aerialist. Sarah Guyard Guillot fell to the ground from 94 feet height while performing in front of crowd at a vertical stage during the conclusion of the show. In the 29-year-history of Cirque du Soleil, Sarah Guyard Guillot's death was the first fatal incident on the set.

3Yoshiyuki Takada

Yoshiyuki Takada was a Japanese acrobat dancer who had gained immense popularity worldwide for his awesome performances. On September 30, 1985, the 31-year-old dancer was performing The Dance of Birth and Death with a Tokyo artistic troupe on the side of Seattle’s Mutual Life building. In the middle of the performance, his rope broke and he started to fall from 80-feet height. It was astonishing that he maintained his posture till the impact and died in front of people.

4Christina Grimmie

Christina Grimmie was an American singer, songwriter, musician and actress. She became very famous on YouTube as well. On June 11th, 2016, Christina Grimmie was shot dead at the young age of 22 after her concert in Orlando. After killing her, the murderer killed himself by shooting. Later, a friend revealed that he was an obsessive fan who wanted to be with Christina either in life or in death.

5Owen Hart

Owen Hart was a Canadian-American professional and amateur wrestler who performed for many promotions including Stampede Wrestling, New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), World Championship Wrestling (WCW), and the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). On May 23rd, 1999, he died after falling from the rafters of the Kemper Arena just before the match.

6Ty Longley

Ty Longley was an American guitarist and vocalist. Longley joined the band Great White in 2000, played in Samantha 7, The Bullet Boys, and played in Nick Menza's solo project. On February 20, 2003, Longley died tragically after a fire that broke out at The Station Nightclub. The fire is considered as fourth deadliest fire in the American history and it killed more than 100 people.

7Mitsuhara Misawa

Mitsuhara Misawa was a Japanese professional wrestler. He made his professional debut in 1981 and became a known wrestler in the 90s. Misawa died in the ring from a cervical spine injury while getting a suplex from his opponent, Saito. He died in a live match in front of many people. It was a title match at the Hiroshima Green Arena.

8Les Harvey

Les Harvey was a guitarist in several Scottish bands of the late 1960s and early 1970s. He became more famous for his association with the '70s blues-rock band Stone the Crows. He died tragically while performing on the stage in front of 1,000 fans. On May 3, 1972, Harvey was electrocuted after touching a microphone that was not earth-grounded. A roadie even attempted to unplug the guitar but he was not successful in doing so. Harvey succumbed to his injuries.

9Brandon Lee

Brandon Lee was an American actor and martial artist. He was son of the famous martial artist and actor Bruce Lee. He featured in many successful movies. Lee died while filming the movie The Crow. He died because of an accident involving a loaded prop gun. The bullet was propelled into Lee and killed him. The film was released posthumously in 1994.

10"Dimebag” Darrell Abbott

"Dimebag” Darrell Abbott was an American musician and songwriter. He co-founded Pantera with his brother Vinnie Paul who was also the founder of Damageplan. He is believed to be one of the driving forces behind the groove metal. He was shot dead during the performance on stage on December 8, 2004, at the Alrosa Villa in Columbus, Ohio.
