For some people, the love for animal comes before everything else. It is proved time and again. I have also heard many stories when pets reciprocated the love in the same manner. The relationship between people and their pets is quite amazing. People can go extra yard in caring for their pets and why not. After all, pets are also adorable and they do care of the family quite lovingly. There are many stories of pets which will leave you spellbound.
However, there is one story which will certainly melt your heart. This person has taken the love for animals to next level. Here is the couple who were expecting a child and decided to build a room for their pet “Molly” so that she doesn’t feel left out in the family. They built a room under the stairs at the home before the baby arrived in the family.

The space was walled and nothing existed there. The couple decided to cut the wall and decorate the place in best way possible. The result was equally enchanting. The finished room had a couch and there was dog wallpaper pasted on the walls.

As per the couple, she was the best wee dog who was very spoiled up in the family. They thought that once the baby would arrive, she may feel a little isolated. They wanted to make sure that she did not feel less important once the baby will arrive.

As the couple said that the Molly was going to become big sister of their baby. Molly also reciprocated the love and took best care of the baby Catelyn. The couple wasn’t sure about the space that was behind the wall. They initially did a hole on the wall to look inside and check whether there was ample space there. They thought that there will be dead space behind the stairs.

The couple had to make a lot of adjustments in the house. They had to move the wiring of the house alarm system. They also did some changes in the kitchen which included the adding of tongue and groove panels.

They cut down the wall in the manner that it looked like a door. The door was cut out in the quest to make it suitable for Molly to sneak in her own space. It eventually turned out to be bigger than they thought. It was around 4 squares metres.

They also wanted to make sure that space is not cramped up for Molly. They wanted to make sure that Molly does not feel suffocated inside. Luckily, for them, the space turned out to be good enough for Molly. It was in fact big enough for her.

The door frame was fitted properly very much in tune with the internal joinery. The base of the frame was kept at the place so as to give ample support to the staircase.

Then, plasterboard was fitted and suddenly it started to look like a perfect room. While all this process was on, Molly also sneaked inside to check what was happening inside. She also helped with the plastering and sealing.

Feature wallpaper was pasted on the wall of the room and it looked very lovely. The place seemed tailor-made for Molly. The whole process was turning out to be a lovely experience.

There was also a great view of the house from inside the Molly’s room. Color changing mood lighting was also installed. Molly also waited patiently for the time when the room was completely done. There was good flooring which also took place inside the room.

Custom signs were also prepared suggesting “Molly’s room” with her picture on it. While the process was on to make the room of Molly look beautiful, she waited patiently all this while on the couch.

Seeing the love for the couch, the couple bought a couch for Molly’s room as well. A luxury bed was placed inside the room. Finishing touches were given to the room and photo frames were put on the wall.

As the room was completed, everything was placed inside. The teddy bears were placed on the couch. Molly also liked the room and she started spending her time inside the room. Molly even liked the room better that what was there in the garden.
