You must have seen the children's sky rollers but this ride is not meant for children and neither is it meant for the fainthearted. Denmark's sky rollers suspends you hundreds of feet above the ground. Made by a German engineer, this interactive sky roller is found mostly in the Danish town of Bakken. In fact, this ride is one of the main attractions which draws tourists to Bakken's amusement parks.

This insane ride is found in Jersey's SIX FLAGS and has single-handedly made the adventure park a world attraction. Nitro is basically a thrill ride which takes its riders on a sharp vertical dive and then immediately after that you'll find yourself 5,400 feet above the ground. One round of a NITRO ride has seven deep drops and it might be the wildest amusement ride in America.

The most dangerous adventure ride of all time. The X-Scream is as crazy as it's gut-wrenching. The ride basically takes place on top of the Stratosphere, Las Vegas and dangles its riders from a height of 866 feet. It's the world's thirst highest amusement ride. The ride is controlled by a braking system which is in turn set up with magnets. Needless to say, X-Scream has also seen its share of accidents over the years.

This ride is a mashup of three adventure rides in one and spins its riders upside down 900 feet above the ground. The extreme adventure ride in Vegas Stratosphere has come under scrutiny a number of times. The mechanical claw-shaped ride is a terrifying thing to witness but it's so much scarier if you are in the ride.

The most extreme version of a spin and swing ride, then Giant Discovery is like a large Frisbee, except you're not throwing it but you are kind of the one being thrown - really high. The giant circular structure lets you climb on it and starts moving with a pendulum motion. The ride starts slow but accelerates to a speed of 110 km/has the riders are strapped on with a restraining belt.

The wild adventure ride is one of the biggest Taiwanese attractions. Situated at the Lihpao Land Discovery World park, the Gravity Max takes its riders up to a height of 114 feet. It only accelerates in speed until it takes a sharp drop of 90 degrees.

This extreme adventure train ride could be your reason to visit England. The snake-like structure, called the Cobra Roll is a huge hit with people. Located in Thorpe Park, Colossus is the world's first roller coaster with 10 inversions.

One of the most extreme roller coasters ever, Super Man which is also known as the Ride of Steel has a speed of 73 miles per hour and takes the riders to a height of 5,400. The sharp drops, rapidly accelerating speed and the stop on the 13th floor gives its riders a sense of a paranormal activities. Not to mention the eerie darkness and the grim set up accentuates the impact.

The California park shut down a few years ago and hosted a particularly deadly adventure ride. Known as the Perilous Plunge, the ride was basically a moving car that would sharply drop into water from an insane height. If you introduce water to a falling body with accelerating speed, it could be potentially fatal and that's exactly what happened in 2001 when a 40-year-old woman died while on this ride.

It closed in 1997 but not before seriously injuring some of its riders and claiming the life of a person. It was basically a high-speed slip and slide. The biggest problem with this ride was that it had almost no crowd control and if too many people were aboard the ride it would often collapse.

Perhaps the stupidest and most dangerous rides ever. This kayaking experience obviously could not involve actual whitewater rapids and so the makers decided to create some with electricity. Not only were people electrocuted but they could also spot exposed electrical wires in the water which could literally kill people. The water ride was.closed in the 80s.
