By Milos Kitanovic, 12 October 2017

4Another gruesome death

Next, we see Kai using fear to gain political points in the town hall, as he speaks about "monsters under the bed." And just when we thought that he is getting all the support that he needs, Sally Keffler (Mare Winningham) interferes. She calls Kai and Trump the flies that circle the garbage that's already piling up in America and announces her candidacy for the city council election, much to the pleasure of everyone is in the room.

Later on, Ally shows up at Sally's door demanding her help in exposing the cult. And just when Sally started to believe her, the clowns enter the room. And while Ally manages to hide, Sally, on the other hand, is not so lucky and she ends up being surrounded by the clowns. And after learning that Sally is still logged into Facebook, Kai begins to write a suicide note about her realizing that everything she believes in is wrong, before eventually pulling the trigger. Then, after searching the house, Ivy finds Ally but chooses not to tell anyone.

5Kai’s masterplan revealed

After escaping the house, Ally then goes straight to Dr. Vincent only to reveal that Meadow is gone. Then, we are back again at that political rally where Kai gives his speech. Only this time, we take a closer look at the shooter who is in fact Meadow. Then, her flashback from earlier continues, and we learn that Kai was able to convince her to help him with his plan, which is set to be his greatest deception to date.

Back to present time, Meadow shoots Kai in the leg before she opens fire on the crowd. Ally tries to stop her, they fight over the gun, and Meadow ends up killing herself. But unfortunately for Ally, she ends up with the gun in her hands when the police arrive. And the episode ends with Ally being arrested and Kai smiling because everything went according to plan.
