While doing a shoot of the WWII drama “Fury,” Labeouf thought that the prosthetics used for the scene was not enough. The actor then decided to cut his cheeks on his own and kept worsening it throughout the shoot to have actual red and inflamed look. To make the scene look real, the actor went ahead and even withdrew his own tooth. As a result, the scars on the face of Labeouf looked real. Labeouf’s dedication created a scene which was real to the core.

During the shoot of the movie “Chasing Mavericks,” Gerard Butler had to film a surf drama. While filming the scene, Butler fell off the board and was struggling against the current. The actor had to face shortage of breath and went underwater for several minutes. The whole scene was captured on camera and the scene that you see in the movie are actually a real sequence.

While doing a shoot of the 80s Olympic wrestling themed movie “Foxcatcher,” Tatum was needed to slam his face to the mirror. A layer of protective plastic was put on the prop mirror to thwart any chances of injuries. But, the actor forcefully slammed his face on the mirror three times. As a result, there was blood all over his face. If you see the scene in the movie, the blood that is coming out from his face is real.
