Blackheads can be nasty, especially when you are trying your best to get clear and beautiful skin. While the key to good skin is to take care of it daily, there are several good natural ways to remove blackheads and whiteheads that also nourish your skin. Here are 7 of them.

1 Lemon + honey + sugar

Take a lemon and slice it in half. Now cover the cut surface with an adequate amount of honey and sprinkle on it two pinches of cane sugar. Gently massage the affected area with the lemon sponge in a circular motion. Repeat the procedure every week.

2 Vaseline + plastic wrap

This method is best used after a shower as the heat will open your pores. Apply Vaseline on the blackheads and then pace a plastic wrap over it. After this, place a hot towel over the wrap till it cools down to room temperature. Use a tissue to remove the excess Vaseline from your face and now squeeze the skin gently to remove the blackheads. Wipe your face with a cotton pad soaked in lotion. This should be done twice a month.

4 Cinnamon + oat flour

Make a mixture from 1 teaspoon oat flour and 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder. This is an excellent scrub for blackheads. Add warm water and stir thoroughly into a thick paste. Apply the mixture to your face using your fingers and massaging the skin in a circular motion. After scrubbing for a minute, wash your face with cold water. The cinnamon may cause your face to tingle but the sensation disappears after you wash your face with water. Do this at least twice a month.
