Houston James of Dallas was one of the Pearl Harbor survivors. He is seen here overcome with emotion and hugging Marine Staff Sgt Mark Graunke Jr. The incident took place at the Dallas Veterans Day Commemoration at Dallas City Hall in 2005. Sgt Graunke also lost his hand, leg and eye while defusing a bomb in Iraq in 2004.
