Dead Sea is a salt lake bordered by Jordan to the east and Israel and Palestine to the west. It is 304 m deep with 34.2% salinity, making it the deepest salt water lake in the world. The salinity makes it impossible for one to drown in the lake and people often come here to float on the water itself.
