9 Get a lot of sleep

Your body needs at least seven hours of sleep each night to heal and rejuvenate. If you don't get enough sleep, your body won't be able to work as well. Lack of sleep is a real problem that can lead to lymphatic blockages.

10 Practice deep breathing

Even though the lymphatic system doesn't have a pump like the heart does for the circulatory system, simply breathing helps move lymph fluid through the chest. The most important thing for the lymphatic function is to breathe right. When you breathe all the time shallowly, your lymph system gets backed up. Deep diaphragmatic breathing can improve the flow of lymph. Slowly breathe in through your nose as you push your stomach out. Let your breath out of your mouth slowly. Deep, slow diaphragmatic breathing for even 5–10 repetitions (or up to 10 minutes a day) will oxygenate the blood, move the lymph, especially around the liver, and provide many other benefits. Do this exercise outside in the fresh air, whenever you can.
