The Dragon’s skull flower is a disturbingly shaped snapdragon species of flowers. It also opens and closes its mouth, if laterally pressed and is a common garden flower in many homes. They were supposed to have supernatural powers and were used in potions, rituals and many occult things.

Impatiens psittacina or parrot flower is a native of South East Asia. Botanist Joseph Dalton described the flower to resemble a "flying cockatoo". It is found in Thailand, Burma and India. It was discovered by A.H. Hildebrand in 1890s and seeds were brought to the royal gardens in 1899.

Ophrys bombyliflora or bumble bee orchid is a species of bee orchid and resembles a bumble bee. This flower is native from the Mediterranean region from Portugal and the Canary Islands to Turkey and Lebanon.
