8 Grapefruit and cinnamon juice

Grapefruit is a popular choice for those on a detox diet since it is both hydrating and filling. As well as being high in nutrients, it also aids with weight loss and increases metabolism. Freshly blended or pre-bottled grapefruit juice are also acceptable options.

To prepare it with the fruit- extract at least half a cup of the fruit's juice that you will be adding to a syrup mixture. Making the syrup is as simple as mixing a cup of boiling water with some sugar for sweetness and a few cinnamon sticks and then straining it. But before you add the grapefruit mixture and cold water into a pitcher, let the mixture simmer in a pan for seven minutes. You may even add some mint leaves into the concoction.

Drinking a cup of ginger tea before you sleep aids digestion and absorption of nutrients. You can even squeeze in some lemon and add a tablespoon of honey to your ginger tea for more flavor. You can also prepare an iced ginger tea if you want to enjoy this beverage in the summer.
