3Tea tree Oil
If the sebaceous gland over produces sebum, it can lead to formation of cystic acne and it can cover a good amount of area on the body. This acne can then get infected and become cysts over time, if not treated. Tea tree oil is a known anti-microbial agent and can have excellent anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial effects. Apply 2-3 drops of tea tree oil on the cyst and cover the area with a band aid or surgical tape. Remove the band aid after 8-10 hours and remember not to sleep with it in the night. Its anti bacterial properties are perfect in treating infected sebaceous cysts and it doesn’t have any side effects either.

4Castor Oil
Castor oil can be easily and successfully sued to counter the swelling and itching caused by the sebaceous cysts on the skin. Castor oil is full of an ingredient known as ricin which is a known anti bacterial ingredient and it gives the castor oil all the weapons it needs to counter the cysts. To apply castor oil, dip a clean piece of cloth in the oil and place it on the cyst. Now on the top of the cloth place a hot compress and hold it for some time, do not let it exceed 30 minutes. Repeat until the cyst is gone.

5Witch Hazel
Witch Hazel extract is a known powerful astringent and both the bark and the leaves of this herb are filled with tannins. Tannins are known to control the excessive production and secretion of oil from oil producing glands in the body. They also tighten the pores of the body so that the secretion is controlled to avoid formation of cysts and acne. Gently rub 2-3 drops of witch hazel extract on the problem area and repeat until cyst dies.
