If you wear glasses, you know how annoying it is when you can’t even drink a hot cup of coffee or walk into a warm room in the winter without your glasses fogging up and leaving you blind for a few minutes. Don’t worry, because potatoes can prevent this from happening. Just cut a potato in half, rub each half over your glasses, and wipe them clean with a soft, dry cloth to stop your

6 To heal burns

The method described below works best for sunburns but can be improvised to treat other minor burns. Take a couple of potatoes, wash them well, and cut them into thin slices. You can grate it or even blend it to make a juicy paste if you don’t want to cut it. These ways are messier, but they give your skin more of the juice it needs to cool down. Put the compresses on your skin with gauze and cotton pads.

Apply the slices (or whatever you’ve chosen) to the affected area, leave them there for 10 to 15 minutes, then take them off and wash your skin with cool water. However, potato slices won’t work for burns caused by boiling water or other things. But for minor burns, the juice from the potatoes works like magic, although slices can hurt a lot. So, mash raw potatoes, which is the most delicate and “wet” way to do it.

Put the mash on the burn gently and leave it until the pain disappears. It could take 10 minutes to several hours, so don’t worry. When the mash turns brown, it’s time to change it. Remember that the outcome will be better if you administer it as soon as possible.

7 Removes stains

You might be able to get stains out of different fabrics with potatoes. You may never have guessed that this would be one of the uses of potatoes. To do this:

  • Wash and grate a couple of raw potatoes in a bowl with 0.5 L (0.1 gal) of water.
  • Take the grated potato out and add the same amount of water.
  • Wait ten to fifteen minutes.
  • Use a sponge to apply potato water to the stain, rub it in, and then wash with clean, cold water. If you have food stains on your hands from berries, beetroot, or something else, just cut a raw potato in half and rub it on your hands.

Ladies and gentlemen, don’t put any more chemicals on your windows. Use half of a potato to clean your window. Simply rub the half potato all over the glass and then wipe it clean with a dry cloth until it shines. It’s really that simple and is an efficient and cost-effective way to keep your windows clean.

  • Cut some potatoes up and boil them. Take them out when they’re done because you’ll only need the starchy water.
  • mmerse your tarnished silver in the water and leave it there for an hour.
  • Take it out and clean your silverware well with a soft brush.
  • Rinse the items with clean water and let them dry or wipe them down with a paper towel.
