4The tie umbrella
Japan must be a sucker for the idiom “two birds, one stone” because the guy who must have invented the tie umbrella was definitely banking on reducing hand luggage and also in the mood to keep the handsomely suited person dry from a rain shower. The tie umbrella comes with an umbrella that has folds which form the bow of a tie when folded and clipped, but ends with a handle. The handle performs the same function as in an umbrella should your suit be running the risk of getting wet in the rain!

5The Shoe dusters
Ever kicked the dirt out of your way and done it in style? Well, the guy who invented these may also have been a fan of the above-mentioned idiom. The radical invention featuring a pair of shoes that are tipped with a dustpan and a dusting brush to gather the dirt at your feet and conveniently kick it out of your room was born in Japan, of all places!

6The indoor beach
Have you ever been deterred from family time because the weather did not sync up with your schedule? In Japan, you do not have too. Japan has its own indoor beach, complete with sea water ebbing and flowing out in waves. Sprawling sand covers the beach for you and your family to take out the picnic basket and the volleyball for a day of fun and games! Best of all, the glass ceiling has the sky overlooking so you can also enjoy a quiet nap on the beach with dark clouds floating above, but nothing to get you wet!

7Themed aircrafts
Japan has respect for the manga culture that has grown and found their fans across the world to spawn an entire merchandise industry out of it! The love for the cartoon franchises such as Pokémon rivals that of any local hero and is reflected in the themed aircrafts that can be seen standing on Japan’s runways. It is no news that these Pokémon-themed memorabilia is available all over the country; now, they embrace the sky with their creativity too!
